Jim Lygo

Jim is an honors graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Canada. In 1988, Jim graduated Cum Laude from the University of Puget Sound, School of Law and was a member of the school’s law review. Jim began practicing law in 1989 and founded his own firm in 1996. He and Jim Shipley have been working together since 2000. Jim lives with his wife and dog in Portland; he enjoys outdoor activities and is a volunteer instructor with the Oregon Dept. of Fish and Wildlife. Jim’s practices in the area of bankruptcy, personal injury, domestic relations, probate/guardianships, and business law.

Jim Shipley

Jim graduated Cum Laude from Southern Oregon University in 1993 with a Bachelors Degree in Economics. He was also a Cum Laude graduate from Seattle University Law School in 1996, attaining a Juris Doctorate. He has been practicing bankruptcy and family law in the Portland-area since 1997. Jim is also an active member in the East Portland Rotary Club and enjoys coaching youth baseball.
